Shipping policy
Nothing here sits in a warehouse. Every paperback and every gift is made after you order it, by one of two US printers, which is why the clock below starts on the day you pay and not on the day we get around to it.
Shipping is free on every physical order to a US address. No minimum, no tiers, no rate calculated at checkout. It is already inside the price.
Instant downloads (PDF planners and organizers)
Nothing ships. Your download link appears on the confirmation screen and lands in your email within a couple of minutes. If it hasn't shown up in ten, check your spam folder, then email support@retirementinorder.com with your order number and we'll send the file straight back. We answer within two business days, usually the same one.
Paperbacks and workbooks
Printed by Lulu, in the US, one copy at a time.
- Printing: 3–5 business days.
- In the post: 2–8 business days after that.
- Door to door: about two weeks. Plan on it.
You get a tracking number by email the moment your copy leaves the printer.
If you need something faster than two weeks — a hospital discharge next Tuesday, a funeral on Friday — buy the PDF instead and print the pages you need tonight. We would rather tell you that than sell you a book that arrives after you needed it.

- Door to door: one to three weeks.
If you order a book and a gift together
They come in two parcels, from two printers, with two tracking numbers, and one usually lands several days before the other. You are charged once. If the second parcel hasn't moved ten business days after the first arrived, tell us and we'll chase it.
Getting the address wrong
Email us the same day and we'll fix it if the order hasn't gone to press — printed orders reach the printer within a few hours, so speed matters more than apology. Once a parcel has shipped to a bad address we can't reroute it. If it comes back to the printer we'll reship to the corrected address at no charge; if it doesn't come back, the reprint is at cost.
If it never arrives
When tracking shows no movement 10 business days past the estimated delivery date, we reprint and reship free. You don't need to prove anything, and you don't need to return the original if it turns up later.
Outside the US
We ship to US addresses only right now, and checkout will say so rather than taking your money and failing later. The PDF editions work anywhere in the world, on any device, today.
